Web Site Review: Web 2.0 Badges

Somehow, Web 2.0 has come. It’s weird, but I can understand. What I think Web 2.0 is? A web site that uses AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) like Goowy, Yourminis, or Picnik. A web site that basically just looks new.

Now, Web 2.0 Badges is a web site that says that Web 2.0 is not completed without that modernistic effect. You think this is true? No matter what, it’s a good site.

To the left of this interesting block of text (I hope) is a badge that says "badge". The web site is actually fairly easy to use. Simply click on the design you want, select a text color, and type in your text. Click "apply" and Web 2.0 Badges generates a badge.

Judging by the app, it is a PHP-based image generator. As you can see though, it might have gotten the Web 2.0 look right.

There are many other sites that also do this at the same time, so this website maybe isn’t just so-so special. It’s certainly a very good beginner creator, though. For a more complex one, though, you might want to try Fresh Badge Generator. It’s much more advanced, though, but you can get good (probably better) effects with it.
